Beverly Hills is full of options that look the part. Marble counters, leather chairs, espresso machines that cost more than the rent. The hard question for any client is which of those translate into a better cut, and which are decoration. After a decade cutting in LA, here's our honest read.
The cut still has to be the cut
No room saves a bad haircut. A real luxury barbershop hires for technical skill first and atmosphere second. Ask what competitions the team has cut at, what editorial they've worked, how long the average tenure on the chair is.
Look for the quiet rooms
The loudest shop in Beverly Hills is rarely the best one. The barbershops that 90210 clients quietly recommend tend to be calmer, slower, and more considered than the destination shops on the tour. SIR is one of those rooms.
How to book
For first-time clients we recommend booking the Signature Cut — a 90-minute appointment that includes consultation, wash, cut, finish, and aftercare. Five minutes from Beverly Hills on West 3rd.
