The discipline of personal presentation

Presentation is the discipline of meeting a small standard, repeatedly, until the standard becomes the default. It's identical in structure to fitness — and people who run one well usually run the other well too.

The cadence matters more than the intensity

One spectacular haircut a year does nothing. Twelve good ones, on a calendar, becomes a new baseline.

The standard runs everything downstream

Once the recurring appointment is set, the rest of grooming — beard, skincare, product wardrobe — organises around it. The chair is the anchor.
