Precision, presence, and confidence: the SIR standard

A standard is more useful than a service menu. It tells you what to do when the script runs out. Ours is three words long, and every appointment is held against it.

Precision

Clean lines, balanced shape, considered finish. Non-negotiable in every chair, every cut, every barber. The minimum bar.

Presence

The barber is in the room. Phone away, attention on, conversation paced to the client. The cut belongs to whoever is in the chair right now — not the next booking.

Confidence

The client walks out feeling sharper than they walked in. That's the actual deliverable. If they don't, the cut technically succeeded and the appointment didn't.
